Awesome-ness. Pure awesome-ness. It is only get even better with time.

  1. All of you think about how you want your actors to warm up. It is imperative that you have as many people as possible warming up, even with make up being done. Maybe Lena can do that in the tech shop so they can do the vocals, etc.
Also, I will need help from some of you (maybe James, Sadat, Xander) to usher and keep a count on seats. It is going to be beyond packed each night. Coleman, let's figure out how many seats we can really use. More and more people are coming out of the wood work who wanted tickets and it didn't go through (or they are lying). In any case, it's going to be a sellout and with general seating, I need some of you to really be on top of that.
Enjoy your opening day and night! Break legs!

  2. The run-through looked great today! A few slip-ups (like Tim completely forgetting about his reprise and walking off stage, then remembering and walking back into the light?) but those are to be expected at Dress.

This show is so much fun to watch. Pure awesome-ness, indeed.

  3. Today was awesome, i think we'll do great tommorrow,, i was really really impressed with Geena getting offbook in like a hour, it makes me wish we had given her an actual part when we were casting... if tristen isnt better by tommorrow i can definatley play the oddball religious kid, besides that, excellent

  4. Mad Props to Geena for doing what she did like i was Jaw dropping all over the place about that
and Xander i'm sure you'll have loads of fun incase tristan can't make it
What i saw of the show omg i can't believe all of this has come out of an idea uttered way back in september. I'm so proud of everyone like I'm so glad this is how and with who it happened and to be honest i wouldn't change a thing about it and if we could do it all over again i would without blinking an eye...seriously though
I know that the process wasn't perfect and sure somethings could have gone better but the things is the show wouldn't have been the same without all the slipups and messups we've had along the way. They made the show into what it is and gave us all an opportunity to grow and learn things along the way...one word TEAMWORK!!!
But yea OPENING NIGHT WILL BE DA BOMB I"M CONVINCED!!!! THANKS GUYS!!!!!! much love

  5. Today was really awesome, but I would have liked to do another run just for practice sake considering that's what Coleman and Pibl suggested and things are just starting to come together for them so I think it would have been helpful. Overall, though, I was pretty damn impressed.

  6. Yes, Geena is our saviour as is Zander. Next year she should get a great role in a play Ms. Houston. Potorski enjoyed filming it and liked Dean and the CTC dance. There was a slip up at the end of the Headmaster but clearly none of you really noticed and I think we covered it up OK, but now I will remember that slip up every time I watch the film, ugh!

Apart from that though it was an incredible performance on everyone's behalf. I thought that the Tech Crew had the situation much more under control, great improvement for one day. Some minor things, but again all seemed in order and James was spot on with those banging noises, so I tip my hat to all of you.

Story time: I went to the Horizon meeting with my hair still grey and old and Ms. O'Connell asked if I was meant to be Mr. Rigg. That made my day.

Thank you all and good night.

  7. Geena impressed me a lot today. Overall everyone was doing a good job. I am really excited for tomorrow. Although we still have little things to fix for some part and if we have time it might get better and better, but people were really working hard and listened to what Dillon suggest them to do. I think people are ready for this!

  8. though i would have liked to run the show a 2nd time, veno n I stayed with kate for a few extra hours n trained/perfected her cue calling. She picked it up and i think tomorrow will occur much more fluidly than the past 2 days.

As for seating we can prob get in atleast another 12; SR>3 against wall, 3 against risers; SL>3 against curtains, 3 against risers. N we were thinking of moving the riser chairs closer together which would allow for mayeb another 2 seats per row.

this should be a great show.

  9. today went well. i feel another rehearsal would have made things better but thats just me and every one thought me and pibs and sadat were insane.

only a few small problems tech wise, aka the projector not being on for the video(face palm)

other wise today went good considering it was our second rehearsal actually running things.

seating wise i think we can definitely get a few more seats as pible said above and as we discussed today.
